Frequently Asked Questions
Is Ring to GREEN expensive to apply to my lawn?
No! If you apply Ring to GREEN yourself, it will only cost $30 per 1000 square feet. If you have a lawn care professional apply Ring to GREEN, it will only cost $60 per 1000 square feet.
Is Ring to GREEN a dangerous fungicide?
No! Ring to GREEN is not a fungicide. Fungicides only try to kill the fungus, and are not able to kill all of the fungus, and thus have been unsuccessful with lawn fungi. Ring to GREEN is a soil enhancement product that corrects the soil and eliminates the fungus completely. Ring to Green treats the CAUSE of the problem (preventing the fungus), where fungicides are only treating the SYMPTOM (trying to kill the fungus).
How is Ring to GREEN applied to my lawn?
Ring to GREEN can be applied by a professional lawn care company, or a homeowner can apply it themselves. Find the links on this website for “Do It Yourself”, or “Have a Pro Do it?”.
Is Ring to GREEN safe with children and pets?
Yes! Ring to GREEN is not a dangerous fungicide, but is an environmentally friendly product. Once Ring to GREEN is applied to the lawn, and is watered in, it is safe for children and pets to be on the lawn.
How often is Ring to GREEN applied to the lawn?
Ring to GREEN is applied (3) times to the lawn, 30 days in between each application from March 1st to October 31st. We also recommend (1) preventative Ring to GREEN application in the spring of each future year to help prevent any additional fungus from appearing.
Do I apply Ring to GREEN to my entire lawn, or just the areas with the fungus?
Ring to GREEN applications may be applied on the entire lawn as a PREVENTATIVE APPLICATION, or in the fungal areas only as a SPOT APPLICATION. Spot applications may result in increased turf green-up in the applied area only. Applying Ring to GREEN on the entire lawn is recommended to maintain uniform greening of the turf.
Do I also apply fertilizer to my lawn during Ring to GREEN treatments?
Yes! Lawn fertilizers may be applied 2 weeks in between Ring to GREEN applications, including weed control.

Yes! Most granular fertilizers are applied at a rate of 5 lbs. per 1000 square feet. Ring to GREEN is applied at 10 lbs. per 1000 square feet.
